AI to AI Migrationsby eMazzanti Technologies & Messaging Architects
The first step of every migration

The AI Migration Assessment: know exactly what moves before anything does.

Before anyone switches tools, we find out what your team uses, what depends on it and what it costs, and turn that into a plan for Microsoft Copilot. Start in the chat below, or book a call.

Why it comes first

Most AI migrations go wrong in the same places: a custom assistant nobody knew a team depended on, files that were never collected, an integration that quietly stopped, or licenses bought for people who didn't need them.

The assessment finds those before they become problems, and gives you a plan you can say yes or no to. Nothing changes in your environment during it.

  1. InventoryEvery AI tool, assistant, prompt, file and integration, including unsanctioned ones
  2. MapEach item gets a home in Microsoft 365, or a reason to retire it
  3. PlanLicenses, costs, risks and a dated migration plan

What we look at

AI tools and spend

Every AI tool in use, its plan and seats, including subscriptions paid by expense report.

Custom assistants

Each custom GPT, Claude Project or Gem: owner, purpose, users, instructions, files, actions, and how critical it is.

Prompts and integrations

The prompts teams reuse, and every action, connector or API key the assistants rely on.

Shadow AI and data risk

AI tools used outside company control, and where sensitive data is reaching them, using Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Purview.

Your Microsoft 365 readiness

Licenses, SharePoint permissions and oversharing, sensitivity labels and Copilot settings.

People and usage

Who uses what, how often and for which tasks, so the license plan and training fit real work.

What you get

Four deliverables, yours to keep whether or not you go ahead with the migration.

DeliverableWhat it tells you
Inventory workbookEvery AI tool, assistant, prompt, integration and export, with owners and criticality
Migration mapWhere each item lands in Microsoft 365 (Copilot agent, SharePoint, Prompt Gallery) or why it retires
License plan and cost comparisonWho needs the paid Microsoft Copilot license, who is fine on Copilot Chat, and how that compares with today's AI spend
Dated migration planThe order of work, the pilot group, the risks we found and how we handle them

What we need from you

Light on your team's time. Most of the work is ours.

Admin access

Read access to your AI tools' admin consoles and to Microsoft 365, so we can inventory without asking people to dig things up.

A few short interviews

About 30 minutes with the owner of each business-critical assistant, and one session per department.

One decision-maker

Someone who can sign off on the plan: what moves, what retires, and when.

Six steps, nothing lost

Each step has an owner and a sign-off, so nothing quietly breaks along the way.

  1. AssessWe inventory who uses what: assistants, prompts, files, integrations and spend.
  2. MapEvery piece gets a home in Microsoft 365, or a reason to retire it.
  3. RebuildAssistants, connectors and prompt libraries are rebuilt and tested before anyone switches.
  4. PilotA small group works in the new tool first. We fix what they flag.
  5. TrainShort sessions built around your team's real tasks, the old way next to the new way.
  6. Switch overEveryone moves, chat history is archived, and old licenses are retired.

Questions we hear most

Does anything change in our environment during the assessment?

No. We read and interview; nothing is moved, blocked or switched off until you approve the plan.

What does it cost and how long does it take?

It depends on the size of your team and how many tools and assistants you use. A migration lead scopes it with you on the first call.

Do we have to do the migration with you afterwards?

No. The deliverables are yours either way.

We have custom GPTs and the December 11 deadline. Is there time?

Yes, if you start now. The assessment ranks your GPTs by how critical they are, so the ones your team can't lose are rebuilt first.
