AI to AI Migrationsby eMazzanti Technologies & Messaging Architects
Mail, Drive and Gemini in one move

Move from Google Workspace and Gemini to Microsoft 365 and Copilot.

We move your mail, calendars and Drive to Microsoft 365, rebuild your Gems as Copilot agents, archive your Gemini chats, and train your team, as one project. Map your move below in about two minutes.

Microsoft's tools move your mail and Drive. Not your Gemini work.

Microsoft's own migration tools move Gmail, contacts and calendars through the Exchange admin center, and Google Drive through Migration Manager. Neither one moves Gemini chats or Gems.

We run both halves as one project: the Workspace data with Microsoft's tools, and the Gemini work by export, archive and rebuild, with one cutover date for your team. Our Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 guide walks through it step by step.

Why teams put off leaving Google, and how we handle it

Leaving Google Workspace is a bigger move than switching one AI tool. Planned as one project, it doesn't have to be a disruptive one.

"Moving off Google is a huge project."

We plan mail, calendars, Drive and Gemini as one migration with one cutover, using Microsoft's own migration tools for the Workspace data.

"Our Gems run real work."

We rebuild each Gem as a Copilot agent, connect it to the files it needs in SharePoint, and test it with your team's real prompts before anyone switches.

"Everything lives in Drive."

Drive moves to SharePoint and OneDrive, and we set permissions carefully, because Copilot only shows people what they are allowed to see.

"People are used to Gmail and Docs."

Training is by role, in short sessions on the tasks people do every day, showing the old way next to the new way.

Why companies are moving from Google to Microsoft now

One platform for work and AI

When your company runs on Microsoft 365, Copilot Chat comes with it at no extra cost, so there is no second AI subscription to manage.

Close the data gaps

Copilot works inside Microsoft 365's security and compliance controls and only shows people data they already have permission to see.

Bring shadow AI back inside

Personal AI accounts used for work sit outside your admin controls and retention policies. Moving the work to a company-managed tool brings it back under them.

Copilot where the work happens

Copilot works inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, next to the mail, files and meetings your team uses every day.

Gemini vs Copilot for business

Gemini is built for Google Workspace; Copilot is built for Microsoft 365. The right choice usually follows the platform your company runs on, which is why the two moves belong together.

Not every team should move everything at once. The assessment sets the order and shows what to move, what to retire, and what, if anything, to keep.

What moves, and where it lands

Gemini's import features don't work for work accounts, and Copilot has no import button. Here is how each piece gets across.

Six steps, nothing lost

Each step has an owner and a sign-off, so nothing quietly breaks along the way.

  1. AssessWe inventory who uses what: assistants, prompts, files, integrations and spend.
  2. MapEvery piece gets a home in Microsoft 365, or a reason to retire it.
  3. RebuildAssistants, connectors and prompt libraries are rebuilt and tested before anyone switches.
  4. PilotA small group works in the new tool first. We fix what they flag.
  5. TrainShort sessions built around your team's real tasks, the old way next to the new way.
  6. Switch overEveryone moves, chat history is archived, and old licenses are retired.

Questions we hear most

Do Microsoft's migration tools move Gemini?

No. The Exchange admin center's Google Workspace migration moves mail, contacts and calendars, and Migration Manager moves Google Drive. Gemini chats and Gems are exported separately, archived, and rebuilt.

How do we export our Gems?

Google Takeout's Gemini item exports Gems. For Workspace accounts, your Google admin has to allow Takeout. See Google's Gemini export help.

Can we keep our Gemini chat history?

Yes. Google Vault can retain, hold, search and export Gemini app conversations, and individual users can export theirs with Takeout where it's allowed. We archive the export in SharePoint.

What happens to our NotebookLM notebooks?

Google's Workspace data export covers NotebookLM chat history, uploaded sources and notes. We move the sources and notes into Copilot Notebooks or a SharePoint library.

Do we have to move everyone at once?

No. Most companies pilot with a small group first, and the assessment sets the order and the cutover date.

Does everyone need a paid Copilot license?

No. Microsoft Copilot Chat comes with Microsoft 365 business subscriptions at no extra cost, and simple agents run on it for free. The paid Microsoft Copilot license adds Copilot across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams with your company data. We map who needs which.

Is eMazzanti affiliated with Google?

No. eMazzanti Technologies is an independent IT services company and a Microsoft partner, and offers this service with Messaging Architects. Neither is affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
